National Attraction Barometer

New User Page

Thank you for your interest in the National Attractions Barometer. The Barometer is a one-of-a-kind, online tool that gives you the ability to gauge your attraction/s attendance to that of aggregate attendance figures for other attractions, sorted by a specific geographic region or by attraction type of your choosing.

Below you will find step-by-step guides to setting up your user account, submitting attendance figures, and running attendance reports.

Only attraction representatives and those submitting attendance on behalf of attractions are eligible to participate in the Barometer. If you represent a state tourism office, destination marketing organization, attraction association, or if you represent another entity submitting attendance on behalf of attractions, click here for your step-by-step guide.

Remember, you can only run reports for like months in which you have submitted attendance data. Meaning, the more attendance data you submit to the Barometer, the more aggregate data will appear when running an attendance report.

Step 4

Be sure to return to the Barometer website before the 5th of each month to submit attendance data for the previous month. Because the Barometer is most effective when attractions submit their figures on a regular basis, you will receive an email reminding you to log in and submit numbers for the past month. And of course, tell your industry colleagues about the National Attractions Barometer. The more attractions that participate, the more valuable this tool will be for the attractions industry.
